This edited volume brings together twelve contributions examining demographic change across the Balkans, with particular attention to emigration, population ageing and the political uses of demographic anxiety.
Contributors include demographers, political scientists and social historians from eight countries. The volume is organised in three parts: measurement, consequence and response.
